Media Passes

For those of you who have been curious about obtaining Media Passes for the up and coming BBWFANFEST trade show and events, there are a few ways that you can qualify to receive either full access or a discounted ticket to the show.

Of course, this applies to industry, local, and community media companies and their writers, photographers and videographers ONLY.  If you are planning on attending, and covering BBWFANFEST in your blog, tv show, radio show or other digital media please contact us via email to press@bbwfanfest.com. 

Please indicate the following in your email:

1.  What type of footage you will be covering (writing, photo, video, audio interviews)

2.  Where is the footage going to be displayed (blog, tv show, radio show, etc) and what is it's daily traffic count?

3.  What events you intend or would like to cover?  (i.e. daily trade show, seminars, stage events, awards show, red carpet prior to awards, awards after party, Friday night White Party)

4.  How many people are required to obtain your coverage (please indicate what each person's role is *camera person, interviewer, etc)?

5.  Do you have room booked through the event hotel (Tuscany Casino & Suites)?

Sin City Bounty

A raw, real, no-holds barred Internet radio comedy show that we produce from real stories in Las Vegas, NV. We focus on dating, relationships, and all that is included. We are also "Plus-sized Girls" giving a unique twist to the show.

The point of this is to show that the larger women of the world are
just as desirable, just as sexy, and just as vulnerable as the rest.

Not that we need to prove it, but so many have taken on the task of saying that
the reason we can't find love is because of the way we look.

This is simply not true!

It's because the dating world SUCKS!
Not always...
but of the male count we did between us when we started keeping track,
the bad dates outweighed the good by a whopping 85%.

That's a truth.

But besides all the political, and social bull crap that goes with the reason for the show...
there is another truth:

Size Acceptance in the industry

As much as we all want to believe that BBW's are widely accepted in the industry, the reality is... they are not.  A prime example of how BBW performers are treated differently is a recent awards show in L.A.  Platinum Puzzy was excited to attend, drove with a colleague 5 hours to be there and arrived right on time dressed for the occasion.  The line for the red carpet was about an hour, and she waited patiently until it was finally time to step on the carpet, pose and smile for the camera.  She had been watching for an hour, as the other models bent over and showed as much as possible and the flashes went off like paparazzi.  It was finally her turn.

As she gave her name to the announcer and wrote it down on the que card, he announces "Platinum Puzzy" and she steps on the red carpet just as smiley and cheerful as possible.  30 photographers lined up, and not one flash goes off.  Thinking that maybe it was just a mistake, she poses again and smiles once more.  Still, no flashes and no pictures.  If that wasn't enough, one of the photographers from a MAJOR industry publication encourages her to get off the red carpet so the next model can be photographed.

Platinum's response was immediately disappointment, and obvious embarrassment.  She sucked it up, grabbed her belongings and kindly left the red carpet.  I am sure she had some tasteless comments but she kept it professional and removed herself from the situation quickly.  This had to be quite a blow for someone who just came all the way from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to attend.

So what do we take from this?  This is a PRIME opportunity for the plus sized performers to unite and enjoy the acceptance amongst their peers and community at BBWFANFEST.  This is YOUR show!!  Your AWARDS!  The photographers will be on site JUST FOR YOU!  Spend your money wisely!  This is the place you need to be!

Cece from 93.5 Kday LA is our official announcer!

If you live in the Los Angeles area, you've heard her as of lately on the morning show with Tattoo and the other morning show crew!  I came across her information looking for plus sized advocates in the Las Vegas area, where she started at 97.5 as a dj and has since relocated to L.A. to work for Kday.  There were several things that drew me to Cece, also known as Cecilia Mamacita.   It was easy to get caught up in her beauty, a flawless face with a beautiful smile and perfect features that just jump out at you.  Most of all, her positive personality and finding her twitter filled with so many positive messages just made her perfect for BBWFANFEST.

She urges you to look past her size, ethnic background, and any other visually obvious  features and just see her as a beautiful young lady striving for success in today's world.  Proud latina, and plus sized figured woman; she'd just rather be seen as "Cece" and not labeled or stereo typed.  We all know what that is like. 

What surprised me the most about her, is when I contacted her about being a part of the BBWFANFEST show, she was excited and jumped at the opportunity immediately and without hesitation!  I was afraid of the adult content of the show being a buzz kill, but she didn't budge for a moment.  As a matter of fact, she is eager to be at the show and see the beautiful plus sized beauties in their sexiest form!
